I have a Barber Chair in decent condition, that I was interesred in restoring. The only name on the is HERCULES, and the stamped date reads May, 1901. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

What you have a Eugene Berninghaus Hercules barber chair patented in 1901. You can Google his name for a brief history. The chair should be wood/metal and all metal parts should be nickel-plated except the plate on the footrest, which should be brass and the outer trim ring around the base which should also be brass. There's not a lot of information out there on these chairs, especially when it comes to repair/restoration. Good luck!
