I just brought home a Koken barber chair it didn't go up so I added a little fluid and it went all the way... Now I dont know how to make it go down..... Looking for a release or something to let the fluid back in the tank... Any body know how thes chair work? There is a lever on the right sid that makes it go up and the handle turns, looks like to make the chair recline??? I have the chair off now looking for anythin that might let the hydrolic fluid bleed off.... Thanks for any help.........

if you push down(forward) on the handle it will make it go down. if youre doing that and it doesnt go down, theres a simple solution. take the cushion off and remove the 4 bolts and hold the chair to the pedastal, remove the pin that attaches the reclining bar to the back leg rest then remove the chair. once removed put handle forward and lift up until the pump is out of the cylinder, be careful you dont lose the brake in the process. on the bottom of the pump there should be 4 screws removed them and take off the bottom, there should be a spring load apparatis on it, the nub that pushes down to release the fluid is worn. the best fix is to take it to a welder and have him braze the top to lengthen it the height of a dime and then put it back together. this should solve your problem...
