I am the office manager at my dad's ENT practice. He has three exam chairs with that say Reliance, F&F Koenigkramer, Cincinnati, OH on the metal footplate. Under the seat of one of the chairs is a label that reads, OHIO 5485, DENTSPLY International, Feb. 8, 1973. On another chair there is a small metal plate under the seat that reads, Reliance, Model 680, serial 4664, 115 v, 60 cycles, 4.5 amps. He bought them from the doctor from whom he bought the practice in 1980. They worked great until a couple of years ago. It seems that the motors just quit. He got a couple of people to look at them with no luck. I just became his office manager and I'm on a mission to fix these chairs for him! He is still using them, but they are stationary as far as the up and down mechanism is concerned. He had them reupholstered once a few years ago. Any help that you can give me is welcome and appreciated! Let me know what further information you need from me as well. thank you
