A late 1800's (I suspect) wooden chair fell in my lap last week. It was represented to be a Koken...it has Koken hardware on foot rest. Upon close inspection of the hydraulics....It does not look like my round bottom, porcelain Koken. Looking at images in internet, it appears it may be a Berninghaus made, but sold by August Kern. I can find almost no information on this chair. Does anyone know anything about Berninhaus/Kern chairs. If it is a Berninghause, I will need the foot rest...Any out there? Attachments:
