I have an Emil J. Paidar barber chair that I purchased used { of course } from a pawn shop several years past. I am unable to now pump the chair up. I had this chair painted, rechromed, flushed & filled the hydralics & all worked well for a short time I was unable to pump up the chair, it as if there is a mechanical blockage of some sort, the handle will not move. This is the second time I have had this problem. The first time my son & a friend of his lifted the chair from the hydralic cylinder & as I best remember they were able to free the pump handle & evrything was good for awhile. It is now unoperable & I am no longer able to lift it alone. Any ideas will be most appreciated. Thanks. Frank

get an exhaust pipe or something to slide over the handle to give you more torque. likely that its froze in place, try adding some hydraulic fluid to it before and after

How/where did you add hydraulic fluid?
